BAPI's company website required a comprehensive revamp to refresh the visual identity while also adding new functionality and enhancing the user experience. The initial website presented a highly complex ordering system that posed challenges for customers. Furthermore, it was lacking some fundamental accessibility options and was difficult to use on mobile devices.
We started with user research. We ran focus groups and interviews to get feedback on the existing site design. An internal, cross-functional team of stakeholders was formed to ensure all needs were met. We generated user personas from these interviews and planned out new features and designs based on user needs. We tested and iterated on the designs with users, going from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes. We finalized the designs and then implemented them with the development team.
For this project, I was both the project manager and UI/UX designer. I coordinated and assisted with user interviews. I collated user feedback into an actionable plan. Starting with wireframes, I planned out new features and iterated on the designs while working closely with internal stakeholders and customers. I was responsible for making sure the project stayed on time and within the budget. I created the final prototypes that were tested and then worked with developers to implement them.
